June 2024
The Winter Markets at The Bunbury Forum are held every year in June. These markets create a wonderfully happy vibe at the Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre, where local creators and small businesses have the opportunity to bring their products to a Shopping Centre - and I was lucky enough to attend 2 days!
I just love the Markets! It’s where I can chat to my lovely customers (and their husbands while they wait) and catch up with my fellow stall holders with their news. I have made so many lovely friends, it really is a beautiful community here in Bunbury. Of course I brought my pretty scarves, but I also made the cutest teapot earrings for this event. They proved very popular and I chatted to so many people about their teapot collections!
This is what my teapot earring display looked like at the Winter Market.
As it's now quite chilly in Bunbury, the scarves were also very popular. The Australian Gifts Co scarves were a best seller as they are packaged in a gorgeous envelope ready to gift. These are the Wattle Scarves and are available in navy and white - aren't they just gorgeous?
I also brought my newest find to the Winter Market - some gorgeous Vintage Bangles! When I saw these at an auction I just had to have them! Although they are pre-loved, they are in as new condition and who doesn't love a bit of Vintage jewellery? This is the bangle display - isn't it just gorgeous? I will just be selling these at the markets but if you see one you love please just send me an email or text and I will see what is available.
These are some of the gorgeous bangles that are available.
This was my stall at the Winter Markets - just across from the Dome Coffee Shop - and the coffee was delicious!
The Winter Markets are organised by Chris Mogg of South West Pop Up Shops and Events. The Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre is located on Sandridge Road in the coastal town of Bunbury, Western Australia. On your way into the Bunbury CBD make sure you pop into this lovely Shopping Centre for lunch and a spot of shopping. My favourite shops to visit are Suzanne Grae, Wakey Wakey Cafe and Big W.
